Envisionit Deep Ai Team

Dr. Jaishree Naidoo was in charge of pediatric radiology at a South African hospital in 2014 when she had a moment of epiphany after coming across a news story on the usage of AI recognition pattern in distinguishing animals.

As a radiologist with 20 years of experience, Naidoo was already familiar with pattern recognition, and she could immediately see how AI could be used in the industry to transform the access to diagnostic imaging.

The flame had been lit, and in 2019, together with Terence Naidu, and Andrei Migatchev, Naidoo launched Envisionit Deep AI, a health tech startup that uses AI to bridge demand for diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Jaishree Naidoo

Chief Executive Officer, Radiologist & Co-Founder

A visionary and trailblazer in the realm of medical innovation with an unwavering commitment to healthcare spanning over two decades. She has has shown exemplary leadership as Head of Paediatric radiology, chaired the South African Society of Paediatric Imaging, past President of the African Society of Paediatric Imaging (AfSPI), executive member of the World Federation of Paediatric Imaging and member of European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR) AI Taskforce. As a thought leader she has co-authored numerous international articles and book chapters on AI imaging in children.

Terence Naidu

Business Development & Co-Founder

23 years in investment banking, hedge funds and private equity. Serial entrepreneur with multiple business startups and exits. Tech for good entrepreneur and philanthropist. Appointed to the UK Government’s Global Entrepreneur Programme. Board and Investment Committee Member of African Leadership Academy (ALA) and ALA’s Endowment Fund. Founder and Trustee of the Envisionit Bursary Foundation.

Andrei Migatchev

Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

An innovative technologist with over two decades of experience, specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security. Pioneered mobile and contactless biometrics with the use of Computer Vision technologies in his previous role as a co-founder of a leading biometric and identity management company. As a Certified Ethical Hacker he spearheaded development of cutting edge technologies as a Technical Director of an Information Security company. Accomplished thought leader and speaker with multiple appearances in press and conferences. Holds MSc degree in Information Technology.
